Wagwan?! Maddea! Wha you doin? Meabill!
Yes, this is a whole conversation in Patwan (what the Jamaicans speak) and now Kelly speaks it all the time!
Alright! Here are a bunch of pictures from our Honeymoon. They aren't in any order, some came from a disposable camera, some from an underwater camera, and some from my own camera. It's fun to reminisce on our trip! We learned a lot, had a blast, and did absolutely nothing (we never knew what time it was or what day!)
Here we are waiting for the plane in the SeaTac airport. This felt like the longest flight of my life, I was getting a little stir crazy..(Kelly says I was angry and punching people)
This is our room! The bottom balcony (3rd floor) #2310
This is us at dinner at Bayside. We felt very different from everybody else because we were a few decades younger, and sometimes at dinner an appetizer just didn't sound good, so they would come take away all of our fancy silverware. We were also different because we weren't holding an alcoholic beverage 24/7!
This is what we did all day. Laid out on the beach under this umbrella. Kelly woke up at 7am everyday to go reserve it for us....while I was busy sleeping! I have the best husband ever!
These peacocks were everywhere! Did you know they can fly?! One evening this guy flew right over my head to the top of the building! I didn't know those heavy tail feathers could fly!
This was a usual sight of Kelly, a virgin Miami Vice in one hand and Jerk Chicken in the other.
This is our hotel in the Dutch Village
My mother in law has this same picture hanging in her house, so we tried to replicate it! This is Eleanor's , the restaurant where they serve wearing white gloves and there are 4 courses! We had to dress up in our best clothes to go there!
The sunsets were incredible!
Kelly won 2nd place and was crowned the Prince of Bonoonoonoos Beach! It was a dance off, I think he should have gotten 1st place, plus he was the only one dancing that wasn't wasted. The lady next to us said he danced so well because of all the cupcakes he ate!
Open sea kayaking
Selfie kissing underwater (this was a hard picture to get, but I think it's funny!)
Stand up paddle boarding
We were going to take the cutest picture, but then a wave came up, so we each got a mouth full of ocean water!
Not that it was cold, but we loved to put our feet in the hot tub every night. The Jamaicans keep the hot tubs super hot (I couldn't even sit in it) because that is only "warm" for them!
Imagine that.... another Miami Vice. He drank over 50 of them in our 6 days there
Eating at Jasmine's restaurant, best salmon I've ever had.
This is our room, we kept forgetting it was our honeymoon because it was 3 months after our wedding, but they kept spoiling us and leaving presents for us!
It's a hard life chillin in Jamaica!
This is what I loved to do-watch the fisherman while Kelly slept! They would drop their nets all over, then use a big stick to hit the water and scare the fish into the net!
We had "paparazzi" at the resort, and they kept doing photo shoots of us, we had him take this picture for us!
This is the view from our room, it was incredible!
This was the pool just outside of our room (there are 4 pools at the resort) this pool was quiet. There were a lot of weddings while we were there. A lot of them took place on the beach right here..we could watch them from our room!
This is my handsome husband
We decided to take a crazy picture of ourselves because every time we try to take a cute one, it just turns out looking like this anyways!
This is the water that they drink in Jamaica, it was delicious (the lids were impossible to get off, I think that's why all Jamaicans are so buff)
New Years 2014 happened while we were here! It was crazy! All of the fountains were turned off and filled with Champagne bottles, the main pool was shut down at noon, everybody was dressed up in their best/diamonds, there was a huge buffet with everything (lobster, crab, pasta bar, chocolate fountain, steak, pork, chicken....anything delectable that you can imagine!)
Everyday we had to walk past this little wood carved parrot, everyday Kelly said that we had to get a picture of it, we almost forgot and then on our way to check out we remembered! So here's Kelly's picture of the bird!
Thanks Mom & Dad Hendricks for sending us here, we loved it and are so thankful that we were able to go! We had a blast, we are already planning our trip back to Sandal's Whitehouse....now we just need to wait until we are rich!
